    THE INTIATION
    By Andre Austin

Immediately when the night emerged into the heat of the desert
Quickly the young initiate was taken blindfolded was his eyes
Enter here this Pyramid for an awesome surprise
Where the sun is held up, eternally stay arise

Harps, flutes, drums sound off as trumpets
    While the ceremonies are performed
His disrobed body stands up naked
Naked before the wavering breeze of God’s air,
    Nude in perfected form

The Egyptian warrior is ready to be circumscribed
Read on the four mighty principles from the King’s scribe

The female magician slowly applied her tools
To the warmest parts of his middle section
The red-hot flint knife meets his prow ness
The excess skin is removed from the top of his erection

As the crackling flame of the knife carved his procreation he yelled
Water eased his pain, as a swarm of cats dashed for birds called BA
The kindled flaming stone hurt his skin; but was good for the union of the sexes
For the fermentation of Nun Ñ and RA *

(Now let the end of the ceremonies be near
The Last of the rituals are almost here)

Come touch this giant erect Obelisk
Look at the top of its circumcised Triangle figuration
It’s the surest road for enlightenment
Bow in total reverence to the transformation

(As his hands touched the Obelisk):

He met a sparkling force of energy from the King’s tomb
It’s the missing phallus of Osiris that came from Nun’s womb

The energy of the Obelisk magnified by a thousands stars
Transferred itself to the hands of the young initiate
Now a corn braided wreath crowns his head
And a Royal purple robe he shamelessly takes

Finally the end of the ceremonies were performed
His burning soul shines as he leaves the chariot he rides
    He’s a man now
    Find this man a bride

Always nice to read something different. Even though the details made me whince, the verse was chiseled to perfection. Keep them coming poet of the week.
