The internet

I never would of guessed
I’d be called a queen out of respect
Or hear a sweet song from
A friend I have never met.
I hear
Rumors of new love,
and of spoiling yet to come
Broken promises,
and the bitterness that lingers on.
I bare the loss of old friends,
While enjoying the making of new ones.
There are
Hustlers, players, and back stabbing scanks
Unnecessary drama and childish pranks
Big beautiful women, professional wanna be’s
Master manipulators, and Nubian kings,
But there are
A few good friends,
I’ve traveled and met,
A learnt experience
One I wish I could forget,
Yet I still thank God
for all my friends
on the internet.
