    The ink runs cold.
    And leaves a hole in
    the anxious poets soul.

    The ink runs cold.
    When others feel the need
    to take creative control.

    The ink runs cold.
    Often not intended ,but
    others can be so bold.
    Wrong and bold!

    The ink runs cold.
    But my soul cries out.
    No doubt, don't let
    the naysayers put
    your fire out.

    The ink runs cold.
    And our papers
    we crush and fold
    back to the journal
    where we share not.

    The ink runs cold.
As we feel we have no
    control over what comes
    forth from our soul.

    The ink runs cold.
    No matter how deep
    no matter how wide
    the river of discontent
    shall not steal my
    pride.

    The ink runs cold.
    I will not hide
    whats inside...
    My words are a
    balm in Gilead...
    Not gonna let
    anybody make me
    feel bad.

    The ink runs cold.
    But, I run hot...
    Determined to nourish
    what talent I got.
    Feeling unappreciated
    is not to be negated.

    But, remember that
    the prophet in his
    own town is ill
    received...was
    not believed...

    I am relieved!
    That my soul runs hot!
    Pursuing the dreams
    and creating a flow
    on the spot!

and off ya vibe i continue to scribe
from da dream da keeps it hot
on da spot we flow in motions
    hitting notes in a notion
we glow so bright as da star
my pen drip from da warmth
    da knowledge which one feed
    now i hunger
    has da taste
nothing no way can take my place
so i face da darkness head on
    and move pass the curver
pull da thorn from my side
    and write da vision
    don't think to hide
i'm in a wave from what i crave
    movin'

    Write on

I was definitely feeling that piece msluciousb. I know exactly where you are coming from and you have to continue to move forward on in all aspects of life, regardless of circumstances. So you just keep moving forward in the poetry thing I have a feeling you will like the journey.

Been on this journey a long time!

Thanks for the kind words, to my new brother, I have been on this journey for quite some time, and as we all know journey's have detours, and rest stops and lay overs and the like, sometimes you just get plain lost. I write everyday for a living, this is my journey into creating revenue with my creative writing...that is a challenging fork in the road. I thank you for your much appreciated support.

Rich as always you flow when I go and pick up after me when I leave if I succed at this word game it's because in me you believed, nourishing wounded heart and quieting fretful brow, soothing troubled spirit my shaman of the scribe! smooches:kiss:
    Blessings on Ya House!
