    The House That I Build
    Was done much earlier
    I was the early pioneer
It was constructed on a beautiful ground
Overlooking the lakes and high mountains
It is build with my pride and high esteem
I cherished all the surrounding sceneries
It provides me all the joy and the comfort
Until the neighbors starts building theirs
As hatred took control of my mind & soul
And self interest covers my true intentions
I sought for the law, to stop all their works

    The House That He Build
    Was done much earlier
    He was the early pioneer
The fact I agree upon and bid him goodwill
I worked all my live and saved every penny
To build my dream house on this land I own
I'd raise my kids and be kind to my neighbors
And to see that we would all be happy together
Have barbeques & dinners at my place & theirs
Such visions were mine until he took me to court
Trying to stop me from building my dream house
To that I would have to fight for, for me & my kids

    The House That He Build
    Was done much earlier
    Next to his neighboring land
    Which the other person owns
To be fair and just to all the grieving parties concerned
The courts must decide conclusively on equitable ground
To all the laws concerned must be read before giving the final verdict
You who had build the house first should view in the light of others
What would happened if the facts were reversed and he'd be the first
He had validly owned the land and therefore owns the right to build
We see nothing in law which can estopped him from building his home
The law must give justice to all the people for it embodies all the trust
A law which is biased will be looked upon as weak and lame by people
And will not bear the public confidence for it must serve its true cause

    Wow is correct!!!

Though your words held strength.. it left me in confusion. What was the contrast?.. was it figuratively speaking/metaphor... or am i reading to much into it?...Nevertheless... I like the story line... Nice Flow!!!

    Thank you for your reviews
‘The House’ can bear different meaning to different people as it is a reflection of a growing nation being scrutinized for demolishing the nature by the developed countries. I mean to say, at one point of time, the said developed country/countries too has in many ways has destructed the nature in their own development process and just because they’ve already been developed, that shouldn’t be the reason for stopping or hindering the development process of other undeveloped nation. The law must recognize all these needs in a just manner to reflect the wisdom of the law being practiced. Just as equally important, it need be said that there must be sustainable development by all the developments being done by the developing nation to balance between the ecological system and the development needs. It can be applied in other areas in our lives at the same time. I guess that is what I’m saying here.

    COMPLEX BUT BEAUTIFUL PARABLE!

I like your almost parable accounting of mans moral and ecological dillemas.
I like the metaphor of the house and of the law, how you examined the sum total
of the societal and ecological ramifications of our actions and reactions.
    Beautifully done...ENGINEER OR LAWYER?

    BLESSINGS ON YOUR HOUSE!
