The heat sweltering, smothering, making
me sweat.
Why did I come outside, the heat made me
forget.
Sunhats and sunglasses, thin clothes that
barely cover the *****.
This is what we have been waiting for.
Long cool drinks and lazy afternoons by
the pool, would be nice, but face it....
It won't be happening soon.
We are not out of school for the summer.
Our labor continues until we take a vacation.
And all of the sun, and heat we run from
will suddenly bring us elation...simply because
THE HEAT
feels different when you are
on vacation!
