I smiled and remembered...
The Gallop
the rhythmic trot of a horse
the fluidity...of each clippity...clop
Breaking free, running off course

Caressing winds from exhilarated speed
the steed becomes Pegasus sprouting wings
elevating above the clouds
and brushing against Saturn's rings

Wow...I'm just loving this freedom of flight
Not even caring how high I soar
This is why the magic initially drew me neigh
And the reason it still beckons me all the more

High off of the elevation
Inebriated from the sensation
of what began as an easy gait
and gradually built into winged fate
Yes, I smiled and remembered...
The Gallop
