    I smiled and remembered...
    The Gallop
the rhythmic trot of a horse
    the fluidity...of each clippity...clop
    Breaking free, running off course

    Caressing winds from exhilarated speed
the steed becomes Pegasus sprouting wings
    elevating above the clouds
    and brushing against Saturn's rings

Wow...I'm just loving this freedom of flight
Not even caring how high I soar
This is why the magic initially drew me neigh
And the reason it still beckons me all the more

    High off of the elevation
    Inebriated from the sensation
of what began as an easy gait
and gradually built into winged fate
    Yes, I smiled and remembered...
    The Gallop

    YOUR HIGH HORSE

I applaud this piece and its creator for daring to stretch the boundries of the art form we know as poetry. :bball:

Your response makes me smile 1poet. Not easy to bring something new to poetry, like you so often do. Much appreciated.
Allowing self to be open through the gallop to other realms, thanks a million Rich.
