The day of independance is a lie
I hold out my hands to show the
    travels of deadened souls
tributaries on my palms that holds my history whole
    fingertips emanating a master hating
pulsar, strong enough to blow bull...sh..yt to the stars
and have nebulas scrubbing their skin
it's a sin that while colonialists fought for their freedom
we had to fight to see the sun
dark days left shadows on all of us
from the African to the native americans after columbus
but they couldn't hang so our skin was the one that
sang the song of broken flesh
flogged beyond recognition they tried to break us
    but our spirit never left

keeping us singing songs about being free/
it's a **** shame now cause brothers singin songs
about not being free/ fronting on wax for contracts/
enslaved so they don't misbehave and start talking real sense
    so they give them cents/
    to hypnotize the masses
now the blind fiend for diamond encrusted teeth and 500 dollar glasses
    yet still can't see that

the 4th of july is a
    lie

so while all of you are setting off fireworks
and sparklers, this day my soul tends to get a little darker
flag waving black folks have always
confused me / they may as well
be washing the feet of miss liberty/
lost in "his stories" translation /misunderstanding
that this is a day of elation

this day did nothing but illuminate our plight
the day they kept us enslaved while for their freedom,
    they decided to fight...

What should have been a celebration of freedom for all, was only freedom for some, and remains to this day. Bullseye, poet.

Peace to the God black verb
may info humbly interject with a word
    or maybe two
you know how the free mind do
ain't nuttin' much I can add to what's been stated
but still confused as to why blacks get elated
on this day it's like it's their favorite
when it should be the most hated
this came into fruition at a time when we were the most degraded
    and ain't a **** thing changed
except the meaning of our names
July the 7th month plus 4 equals 11
    check out this masonic game
if you really wanna know who ta blame
add up the Roman numerals on the bottom of the pyramid
on the back of your dollar bill if you can hear me
1776, is this mic on can ya'll still hear me..........
    Freedom or death
I love my freedom till death
    where I'll still be free
    in 1776 were you??????
