Under the Judgment Tree & the Tree of Peace

I suppose it could be thought of as irony that this was the very tree that Adam and Eve used to ‘cover’ the fact that they had become ‘uncovered’. Their eyes had been opened, in other words, they had become fully aware of the capabilities of what their bodies could produce byway of expression. When they were confronted by the one who was their original teacher--that being their Creator--, they suddenly became aware too, that they had learned something prematurely byway of a strange spirit. They had engaged in an activity that had completely changed their past behaviors towards each other. From then on they had to learn the hard way that they had been made by ‘intelligent design’ and had it not been for that strange spirit that exploited them, they could have come together in maturity and enjoyed each other without contempt and without all the ill fruits of mistrust, deceit, and treachery. According to further details in the Bible regarding the words used to describe this act in regards to their being ‘naked’, they in fact had been taught how to come together as man and woman. In the Book of Leviticus, the definition of the word ‘naked’ was further explained in more detail to include not only just merely being nude but within context, it also refers to the act of having sexual intercourse. Later after this first act of ‘nakedness’ the Bible also states that Adam ‘knew Eve’ and then she conceived Cabel and therefore becomes another term like ‘nakedness’ that becomes connected to reproduction and therefore becomes the fruit of being ‘naked’. But this was the second time that Eve had reproduced as the Bible clearly states this when, before Adam ‘knew her’, the Creator addresses that strange spirit in the midst of the earth and in regards to ‘his seed’ that was implanted in the womb of Eve. So ultimately, Adam and Eve’s acts are amazingly connected to two trees at that time; (1) the Forbidden Tree and, (2) the Fig Tree. After Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree, they let their guard down and gave into the will of the adversary and later they ended up running for cover under the Fig Tree. The Fig Tree became a tree to cover their sin but also, it came to represent a time of judgment for them as well because no matter, their lives would never be as it was before as they also began to die as a result of their sin:

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. GENESIS 3:7.

More than 3500 years later after this act of sexual intercourse had been committed, this amazing fig tree that was in the Garden of Eden was recorded again byway of the prophets of God. It was recorded by the prophet Zechariah [Zachariah] as well as other prophets too even Jesus and astonishingly, the prophecy that surrounds this incredible fig tree carries an extremely deep meaning that many Bible scholars have omitted. Like Zechariah, the prophet Micah also refers to the phrase ‘the vine and the fig tree’ and confirms the fact that this phrase becomes connected to the prophecies that surrounds ‘end time judgments’. However, due to the domination of White Supremacy with the set up of the Roman Empire and up to and beyond the time of the Colonial Empire times, the full revelation of this one prophecy has been completely suppressed:

    Wesley's Notes

3:10 In that day - Of removing the sins of my people. Shall ye call - Ye shall invite one another to refresh yourselves with the sweet fruit of the vine and fig - tree. When iniquity is taken away, we receive precious benefits from our justification, more precious than the fruits of the vine or fig - tree. And we repose ourselves in sweet tranquillity, being quiet from the fear of evil.

The biblical quote "each man under his own vine and fig tree" (1 Kings 4:25) has been used to denote peace and prosperity. It was commonly quoted to refer to the life that would be led by settlers in the American West, and was used by

Theodor Herzl in his depiction of the future Jewish Homeland

Now although some Bible scholars do hint upon the fact that the prophets wrote about ‘the end of the world judgment’ they do so very vaguely in regards to the specific details that these prophets highlight in all of the Biblical writings:

    Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

    10. under . vine . fig tree-emblem of tranquil prosperity (1Ki 4:25). Type of spiritual peace with God through Christ (Ro 5:1); and of millennial blessedness (Mic 4:4).

    Geneva Study Bible

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the {q} vine and under the fig tree. (q) You will then live in peace and quietness, that is, in the kingdom of Christ; Isa 2:2 Mic 4:4 Ha 2:9.

Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible

The phrase, ‘saith the Lord of hosts’ was written by Zechariah and his writings give much power to this prophecy in that it came from the Creator of this world. In fact, every aspect of the life of the prophet Zechariah is absolutely phenomenal and reveals so much deep meanings to prophecies about these end times. He lived around the same time of Daniel-the-prophet, during the Persian Empire times and Zechariah’s writings are so pivotal because he writes about the high priest of those times named Joshua and connects the prophecy of ‘the vine and the fig tree’ with this high priest Joshua to that of Jesus Christ and more. In other words, Zechariah reveals the connection between Joshua and Jesus Christ in that Jesus becomes the high priest of prophecy. Zechariah shows that Jesus Christ is the one true prophetical high priest but also he goes deeper and reveals so much more about the Second Coming and about Jesus in the end times with regards to his redemption of the Israelites through the prophecy of ‘the vine and the fig tree’. Zechariah gives depth to the fact that he, himself, was ‘an apocalyptic prophet’ [Nebiim prophet], a Black prophet who spoke about issues that surrounds the exploitation of the Black presence on this earth, and his words were so powerful that his adversaries sought to cover up his life and contributions. But when Jesus walked the earth hundreds of years later, he spoke Zechariah’s name back into script and revealed that Zechariah was actually martyred right on the temple grounds. Incredibly, Zechariah wrote about martyrdom and how the angels pleaded with God about this very issue; martyrdom, yet Zechariah was still later martyred himself. Nevertheless, Zechariah’s words live on and the time of redemption to prove the prophecy of ‘the vine and the fig tree’ is written to be at the very door today. Hiding behind this prophecy of the fig tree would be its connection to the black presence and our connection with the very physical presence of Adam and Eve. Part of the mystery behind Zechariah’s prophecy and all other prophecies that surrounds the fig tree would be that based upon the climate and the fig tree origins in the ancient Black lands, the fig trees produces figs that become black when they are matured....Cont.

Jesus scripture about Zechariah: His words to his disciples and many others listening to him talk against the Scribes and Pharisees and then his charge against them in regards to end times. Jesus’ enmity [hostility] emanates as he passionately speaks out against these sectarian leaders and said [paraphrasing] that they had gotten titles of distinction but their words do not equal their works, in other words, they were total hypocrites:

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:…

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
    ST MATTHEW 23: 1-2, and 33-36.

In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, …
