A pretense of love to solicit a friendship. A façade of acceptance when forming a kinship. The faces we wear, void of honor and truth. Deceit is its name. Shame is its proof. The faces we wear, the falsehoods of notion. Climbing the ladder for success and promotion. Where is integrity? What does it matter? Do we find remorse when lives have been shattered? The faces we wear puffed up with vain glory. Judgment on status when all have a story. A message to those that find themselves wearing … The habits of old, their faces uncaring. The faces we wear reflect the right fruit, peace trims the vine, pure love at its root. The eyes are compassion, the lips do not lie. We inhale a pure savor, so sweet from on high. The faces we wear…permit the image of Christ to dwell in our hearts, to reign in our lives. As the light of the Lord brightens your face, duplicities severed for truth's in its place. Why must we wear faces when God gave His Son, to erase all the faces except the True One? Hold on to the beauty, its visions of awe. Our faces are cleansed with the power of God.
