How apropos, omowalejabali, considering our discussion last night re: bey/riri as inanna/sekhmet....also, i've read odwirafo's article on Afi (a form of Het Hrt/Hru or Oshun) and was doin a praise dance in my bedroom lol so i look forward to reading this one as well. thanks Ra Nehem for sharing!

Abenaa is Sekhmet (Yoruba Iyaami Abeni) while Afi is Het Heru (Yoruba Oshun). A title of Afi in Akan is Kyekye (Chey-cheh). This is the Akan pronunciation of Het-Her.
