    The election took place on November 6th in 2012 and exactly 20 days later the Huffington Post provided the update and there were no public objections nor emotional rebuttals.

    Contrary to what the pundits report today, as you correctly state, there was little, if any resistance in 2012 to President Obama, the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, on the basis of race. Nor did any protests occur in contrast to 2016 ... You are very welcome, btw, thanks for your continued focus on the electoral college.
