There isn’t an African-American woman alive who is currently in/on the “dating scene,” or in relationship recovery who should not read this book (The Dark Side of Mars)! It is a satirical examination of the ups & downs of that entire experience (Amazon.com).

I didn't know people bought these type of books.
    I will tell you this.
    Every women is different.
Each experience will either tear you apart or piece you together.
A book cannot teach you ,life does.
While a book is final people continue to be a mystery unannounced.:blowkiss:

    Cursed Heart,
I respectfully submit that while people are as “different” as our respective finger prints, our characters, personalities, rhythms, patterns are not as varied: hence social, anthropological, and even financial “sciences”….

Additionally, there are some life-lessons that are better learned second/third hand. Be reasonable and tell me if you’d prefer to “experience” all of the lessons life had & will bring your way; or would you prefer to benefit from the wisdom & experiences of others as well (not exclusively in lieu of).

I would lovingly challenge you to purchase the book, read it, and if you hold the same position thereafter, I will personally refund you the money for it!

    What sayest thou?

i think a better challenge would be to let her read the book and then pay only if she thinks it is of value.

Just feeding off of the vibe...I look foward to it being a good read. I'm assuming it is a "good read" since I DO enjoy literature which involves relationships...I find them great reading pleasure:read:

    James,
I have no problem with your counter offer. If she sends a mailing address to me, I’ll gladly do it. After all, information is knowledge. And I’d trust that she is an honorable woman. In the mean time, I’d suggest you stay away from the book. I would hate for you to try some of the shenanigans that the book is warning females about!

But then again, maybe you could use having a psychological shame-on-you pie hurled in your face by a sister like…..let’s say….Spicybrown (smile).

cold water tends to give the true essence of a brothers "package." (smile again)
