Now Eye understand. Queen Phillipa was a woman of colour. Yet, her line had to be whitewashed out.
It was always in Thomas Markle's DNA to marry a woman of colour. Truth be told, probably til this day - he does not know the details of his own ancestry, smh.

Richard II then became king at the age of 10, ruling from 1377 until he was deposed in 1399 by an act of Parliament induced by his Uncle John Gaunt and Katherine Swynford (1396 - 1399), his mistress, then seized throne for Henry IV.
