For those that hate poetry, this is going to hurt something awful, but hurt good, real good!

Here is somewhat of an exercise we used to do back in the day.
Called a poetic continuum, it involves more than one creative thinker.

    How it goes:

After the first creator offers their piece, the next creator adds unto and onto it with theirs, maintain the style, theme and/or rhythm.

This pattern will start with 3 lines and then proceed with 2 or 4 lines thereafter, leaving the next addition to finish the previous one.

Be sure to highlight the last line for the next continuee for emphasis on what to add to

    Example...

    Initiator-
Kiss the sky with lips of a starfish
dreams from afar to those that wish
shooting but aiming for ambient orbs

    Continuee-
Not waiting to go under to see over lords
The ship is the vessel and the heart is the engine
doors labeled for entry but who else went in
Crossing over to uncover the discovery of a clue

    Continuee-
After this is done one cannot undo

Landing softly without damage to a safe destination...

Finish the last one off above, or create a new one starting with 3 lines.

New life new ideals now begins the re-creation
    Hammer nails saw and wood
New family to bring together in sister and brother hood
Pull up the sleeves and let the perspiration flow...
