    i was humored by the fact most of these "contenders" were white yet the best fighters in the pros are black and latino. i think they purposley picked sub par black fighters to create a white champion.none of those fighters will do anything ib the pros.

    I absolutely agree with you Therious, which is why I never watched an episode of the Contender. "Rocky" Sly Stalone was involved for a reason, to appeal to white America. To be perfectly honest, I don't really mind in that sense, because my favorite sport got some exposure (news fans interested in the sport). Where it really counts, Blacks & Latinos will continue to dominate the sport. Thanks to the "Contender", now more people will know the name of the white boy who is about to get their butt kicked!

    after black and latino fighters then the white guys gots to deal with the asians! yeah you low on the food chain billy boy...

    is the show going to be any different on espn? i couldnt tell by the article.

    I would imagine with ESPN behind the show more top contenders will be on the show. It can only be an improvement.
