Black People Politics : The Coming Uprising After Ptesidential Election ????

What do you think will happen after Nov.6?
Me, I got a feeling something is going to happen regardless if Obama win or loses.
I been feeling uneasy for a while that something real bad is coming.
I really do not like talking in this manner, but I hear it, see it, and feel it at times.
I am not with conspiracy, etc...but some people has open up my mind and eyes to certain facts.

The jobs and economic situation for example, it sounds good and look somewhat good but on the surface it is more bleak and hopeless then before.
The more I look between the lines the more I see this country is on the brink of revolting or a upheaval about to start.
People are still losing everything and no one have a answer, but a lot of nasty ad's and misleading information.

Just turn off your tv.. put the political fight for power out of your mind... stop visiting news sites and discussions sites.. go outside and reconnect with the natural world.. go hiking.. or fishing.. or swimming.. or something.. and after a while that feeling will be gone.

This is the climate of every single election.. the sky is falling, the world is ending.. the debt is going to get us.. yada yada yada.. In a culture of fear, fear must be invoked whenever decisions related to power are made. It's the way the people are moved from this to that. Once you know that, the fear will disappear.

You are right that it is healthier not to fear the coming storm. Renounce aversion to outcomes Ego perceives as unpleasant.

Nevertheless, things are going to get worse. And the world, as we know is, is going to come to an end. But that is a good thing. Embrace it.

Homo sapiens, or perhaps what it will out of necessity evolve into, will be a more godly species post-apocalypse. Mortals need these cataclysmic events every few millenia which serve as course corrections.

The so-called Laws of Manu were initially the instruction given by an enlightened one, Manu, to a group of sages after one of these cataclysmic course corrections. Alas, eventual translations into English shaped it into yet another book of laws. The problem with approaching it as a book of laws is the same problem as approaching the bible as a book of ten commandments --- the same problem as approaching the Quran as a book of Sharia law.

What mortals need, more than a list of Thou-Shalt-Nots, more even than a list of I-Have-Nots, is a Way to transcend what, on the surface, seems to be their inescapable compulsion to violate such laws.

The Way must involve Knowing that Self is not mortal, is not temporal, and is destined to become One with the One Universal Law aka God/Brahma/Allah and many other names which fall short of adequately representing the One who is All.

To Know Self is to know why leaving the country, or buying guns cannot save you --- because you would only carry with you, you could not kill with physical weapons, the Enemy of Man which is your own Selfish Desire.

As we approach our own end, we project it out onto the rest of the world. It is a function of age. Our own dwindling time drives our ideological focus. This is the reason why older people are consumed with the end. The world becomes a metaphor for our own lives. Some recognize this, some do not. Some recognize that these things they are telling others are, in reality, things that creation is telling them for their own sake.. and in preparation for their own personal transition from this world/consciousness to the next.

Astute observation.

When you pass from the former half of your life to the latter, assuming you are not one of those older folk who fear getting older as some kind of curse, you begin to listen more closely to certain messages the Universe has, in fact, been whispering into your ear during your entire incarnation.

One of those messages is that Bill Cosby, searching to understand why his young, handsome, intelligent son could be slaughtered in our 'good and great' America, stumbled upon some accurate asessments, not always articulated wisely, about black Americans:

Another message is that Richard Pryor was right. These ****** are crazy. Young Brothas walking around with their pants hanging down below their butt, willing to kill any complete stranger over something as trivial as stepping on their pretty white designer name shoes. Sistas walking around 24-7, mad as a hornet and just primed and ready to argue with whoever will let her get her head rocking, fingering waving, routine in full effect. And the craziest of ****** are these fools-with-a-platform black preachers:

And some of us older black folk start figuring out that race ain't even real anyway, despite the insistence of so many younger black folk that blackness is some kind of measure of godliness:
