The study is self explanatory.

Knowledge is Power

KIPP LA Schools
Knowledge Is Power Program in Los Angeles
KIPP LA Schools operates three free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public charter schools. Our schools, which serve elementary and middle school students in East and South Los Angeles, are part of the national KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) network. KIPP schools are dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life.

KIPP LA schools feature a “no shortcuts, no excuses” philosophy and a strong culture of achievement. Our extended school day, week, and year enable us to provide our students a well-rounded education, with sufficient time dedicated to academics, the arts, enrichment, and having fun. At each school outstanding, committed educators give students the support and motivation they need to excel at KIPP LA and beyond.

KIPP schools are gaining national recognition for their successful approach to educating students from under-resourced communities. Nationally, more than 90 percent of KIPP middle school students have gone on to college-preparatory high schools, and more than 80 percent of KIPP alumni have gone on to college.

Yeah-YEAH! :toast:

You may be "retired" but you're still teaching, Brother Omo!

This is :great: And more of our parents and children need to know it!
