I am the child that Destiny forgot
    The one left behind
All alone to fend for herself
Searching the dark halls of solace
Looking for the long forgotten promise of forever

I am the Child that Destiny forgot
The one with the sad sad eyes
    Left with tears of comfort
    Denying the reality of today

I am the child that Destiny forgot
    Aimlessly wandering the corridors
    Of yesteryear
    Searching for the happier times
    Long forgotten

I am the child that Destiny forgot
    Standing still
    Hoping
    To be remembered once again

"The one with the sad sad eyes....."

    I know this expression well
That child lives inside my mirror

A very insightful and reflective piece poet
This message sits inside my middle parts today

    Thank-you

    No, no, no.... :(

That was indeed sad. I think those of us who have gone through certain things will painfully relate. I know I did. Thank you for sharing, I hope that write was a note from the past.

    I will remember it (you).
