    That was pretty good for a white folks in the room conversation.. I agree with all three.
    And huckleberry Finn is not a masterpiece.. Not in any way.. And there is no reason for
    black kids to read it.

    One of the interesting things that Bryce said was,"I don't get to choose what my kids are exposed to"..
    That's problem number one.

    Makes no sense to censor it, but I'm amazed kids are still reading it.

    I think the book takes the piss out current events at the time pretty well. It's just amazing people are willing to censor, ban, or burn books of all things.

    i don't think it should be banned or censored. kids should be allowed to read it and the historical context should be given. whitewashing doesn't stop a spade from being a spade.
