    THE Blessed

    What is the definition of Blessed? The Egyptian origin of the Greek blessed comes from “true of voice”, the title given to the dead who have passed the test of judgment in truth on balance scales. The blessed in Egypt as well as in Christianity inherits heaven with God.

    Matthew Chap 5 reads;

    3.Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

    5.Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth

    8.Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see god

    10.Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of God.

    The blessed in Christianity are associated with words linked with law and justice. For example all candidates for heaven in Egyptian had to have their heart weighed and it had to be light/meek and pure. Blessed is also associated with righteousness another word for truth. Jesus said “Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice”-John18:37. This is the Egyptian version of the blessed/true of voice. We should read Revealtion 1:3 in conjunction with John 18:37. Revelations said blessed is he that readeth, and that hear the words of prophecy”.

    What is the voice of Jesus like? A. ‘His voice as the sound of many waters’-Rev 1:15 Jesus then must be linked with “The river of the water of life” in Rev 22:1 The Egyptians were the first to use life as living waters so its an Egyptian concept. I’m focusing now on this because Jesus says “Amen, Amen, I say unto you, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he can’t enter into the kingdom of God”-John 3:5 but in Matthew 3:11 fire is included in the baptizing. So this trinity of elements is a creative force. St Augustine calls God the uncreated spirit who creates all things with his spirit-City of God chapter nine. The Bible states that faith comes by hearing the word.

    The Golden *** or The Metamorphoses

    An African by the name of Apuleius wrote a book called the “Golden ***”. In the last chapter,Book 11, he talks about his experience of being initiated into the secret rites of Isis and Osiris. St Augustine called Apuleius a Platonist. Plato studied in Egypt for more that two decades. Apuleius talked about the concept of blessed twice in the last chapter of his book:

    1.“You shall live Blessed.You shall live glorious under my (Isis) guidance; and when you have traveled your full length of time and you go down into death, there also (on that hidden side of earth…you will see me shining on amid the darkness”. This might explain why the meek inherit the earth temporary in Matthew 5:5.
    2. “Thrice blessed is he who by the purity (see Matthew 5:8) and faith of his past life has merited such particular patronage from above! For it is as through he had been set apart from the moment of his second birth for the ministry of heaven”.

    Blessed applied to the living as well as the dead who would get their second chance second life. Many scholars agree that there are many Egyptian elements in Apuleius ritual. They appear to resemble passages found in the “Egyptian book of the dead” that were written before the OT & NT. In addition to this, there are references going back to the sevententh century BC to men who, alive, were called “True of voice”/Blessed., the title generally applied to the immortal dead. This may help explain why the blessed inherit the earth while alive and heaven when dead. Apuleius states he received a “newborn tongue”. This may be in reference to Blessed/true of voice doctrine.

    Its no coincidence that the Egyptian ceremony of giving initiates a new life/being born again has the same language that Christianity has. To have Jesus second life you had to be born again through at least 3 elements of water, fire, spirit/air and had to hear/read his words. For the Egyptian words of power and wisdom =magic which god transferred some to man. This same magic/wisdom is the same Solomon had as the helper of god at creation (Proverbs 8:22)

    Notes:
    It’s a well documented fact that in Egypt the voice of Ra gives life and active commandments of Words creates. This was the same doctrine in Christianity. With this it should be no accident that being blessed, born again with elements, and having the words of god are all interdependent upon each other.

    Read the entire chapter of psalm 119 and it links being blessed with keeping up with law and statues.
