Sometimes it seems that the black man has nothing but God.

Some brothas get so discouraged, they don't even think they have Him.

Be not dismayed, my brothers who are oppressed, despised, and downhearted.

Some things to think about regarding your relationship to God:

Hebrews 12:5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

You got me on this one as i said I wouldn't come back but you know what though?? I'm going to write a book out to the Brothers young to old as a dedication to just uplifting us you know? Cause you right...alot of us are depressed and just tired giving our all and just tired of being rejected when asking help doing real progressive solutions for the community in which you are residing in. Real talk. Alot of us just don't speak out and was taught to just hold it in and keep it moving. it's like a war syndrome...just like being in the military again you know? mission after mission and it's like when will it ever stop like when will we just come together but you can't force nobody and you just live with it and be happy you can make a difference in the children's life you know? Cause they cannot be caught up in this madness in which we was born in...we owe it to them and that's something to die fore and live on fore. so yeah you got me on this one and couple other ones...it's hard in these times man. serious up. it's like a jungle sometimes. peace bro.

And sometimes it be your own brother with speculations on your progress speculating until speculations become guilty verdicts like the public court of opinion you know??? you can be in straight progress with proof in hand and on-ground and still get done in by "all talk" wannabe Kings standing in front of wannabe Queens, which needs to see a little that action is being taken to provide solution to problems and they are putting you down while they ain't doing nothing or setting you up if they are doing something to make them look bigger. In other words hiding what they do for selfishness accomplishments and being a hater possibly backing up another hater or group of haters. Now how that sound? This stuff is on-going on ground and on-line. Seriously. Real talk. And it's like how much more can you take before you explode over the nonsense you know? But fore me I just zone out and just listen to some 2Pac and just ride chilling looking at the stars man. Because that's all you got b4 the nites up you know? that's just real. you just wish you can just put in so much work and package them to parachute down in the arms of the kids and just die after that you know? Like putting your whole life work in at high speed. that's how i be feeling most of the times you know? it's wrong to be feeling like that but man what else is left? so i just meditate and hypnotize myself like earth ain't real no more and it's just me in time and space just putting in work. so i'm always on the watch even when the sun comes up and the moon glow bright.... you just gotta get it off your chest so you want have to be under pressure.

I try not to get depressed when things go against me or be happy when things go my way.

I try to walk that middle path and stay on the middle ground.
