    Habakkuk 3:3 (New International Version)

3 God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran.
    Selah [a]
    His glory covered the heavens
and his praise filled the earth.

1According to the dictionary of the Bible, Teman, a son of Eliphaz, son of Esau by Adah, (Gen. 36:11,15 and in the I Chronicles 1:36). Now if Habakkuk saw God come or coming from the son’s of Esau (Eliphaz), then God must be a man and not a spook.

2I If Habakkuk’s prophesy refers to some country, town, or city; if there be any truth at all in this prophesy, then we can say that this prophet saw God as a material being belonging to the human family of earth, and not a spirit.

    Teman

    1. A grandson of Esau, one of the "dukes of Edom" (Gen. 36:11, 15, 42).
    2. A place in Southern Idumea, the land of "the sons of the east," frequently mentioned in the Old Testament. It was noted for the wisdom of its inhabitants (Amos 1:12; Obad. 1:8; Jer. 49:7; Ezek. 25:13). It was divided from the hills of Paran by the low plain of Arabah (Hab. 3:3).

Then who created the heavens and the earth since apparently this low level regional manager called God had not been born yet?

    Salaam aqi:

The Biblical verse you referenced here is part of a prayer of Habakkuk the Prophet, according to the shigionoth, which may mean a prayer of request or a prayer to be accompanied by a musical instrument (thusly Selah - meaning "pause," "reflection," within the context of a prayer or psalms - is similar in purpose to "Amen" in that it stresses the importance of the preceding passage. In this way, Selah is thought to imply that one should pause and reflect on what has been said. Alternatively, Selah may be a musical notation (thus explaining its use throughout Psalms), or may mean "forever," as it does in some places in the liturgy.

Teman and Paran were districts near Mount Sinai, where the Law was given - by which is signified that His deliverance was as present now as it was then. Here is Habakkuk 3:1-15:

"This is my prayer: I know your reputation, Lord, and I am amazed at what you have done. Please turn from your anger and be merciful; do for us what you did for our ancestors.

You are the same Holy God who came from Teman and Paran to help us. The brightness of your glory covered the Heavens, and your praises were heard everywhere on Earth. Your glory shown like the Sun, and light flashed from your hands, holding your mighty power.

Dreadful diseases and plagues marched in front and followed behind. When you stopped, the Earth shook; when you stared, nations trembled; when you walked along your ancient paths, eternal mountains and hills crumbled and collasped. The tents of desert tribes in Cushan and Midian were ripped apart.

Our Lord, were you angry with the monsters of the deep? You attacked in your chariot and wiped them out. Your arrows were ready and obeyed your commands. You split the Earth apart with rivers and streams; mountains trembled at the sight of you; rain poured from the clouds; ocean waves roared and rose. The Sun and Moon stood still, while your arrows and spears flashed like lightening.

In your furious anger, you trampled on nations to rescue your people and save your chosen one. You crushed a nation's ruler and stripped his evil kingdom of its power. His troops had come like a storm, helping to scatter us and glad to gobble us down. To them we were refugees in hiding - but you smashed their heads with their own weapons. Then your chariots churned the waters of the sea."

(Habakkuk 3:1-15, KJV, Contemporary English Version)

If we would only account what GOD Himself Speaks in HIS own Words as Holy and Absolute, these misunderstanding about GOD would not take place.
