Sometimes I just have to sit and wonder what we have gotten ourselves into.

But considering this, how many times have you also desired finding where it is originating and cut the umbilical cord before more comes to life?

Here is an example of music we should just embrace, right:

Guess it's a matter of taste, but what is wrong with our taste buds???

Just if that one didn't come through clear enough...

I'm just being honest... I can't even call it anymore fam.

Contrast to authors and poets given homage to hip hop:

Yea, we had Kid n Play, Digital Underground, and others, but the wack stuff I can't even remember because it fell off faster than it began... Young MC comes to mind, though his material was far more entertaining and impressing than what's is pushed now.

Will post more of these "Bests" (sarcasm), and if any would like to add what they consider some of the "Best" (sarcasm) music made, feel free.

This can be from any genre... Rap, RnB, Disco, Jazz, Pop, Rock, etc

    Key Legend for above:

Best (sarcasm) - term used to describe star power and accolades given to drivel and weak talents

I agree with you here bruh..I don't even listen to main stream rap anymore and hasn't for a long time. Underground conscious hip hop is better IMO like Roots Manuva. IMO, It's shame that The Message, as old as it is speaks volumes over today's garbage.

    Peace!

I prefer comedy/comic relief... of the non-offensive type.

I agree, but the system is against them, if I understand it right. My wife's cousin is a positive rapper, and it's hard for him to get air play. His fame is by word of mouth and he's local.

    Here he is here.

    Peace!
