THE BALCONY STALK
By Andre Austin

Ok what happened Friday night dre?

I just parked the Cadillac
I enter the grounds of her Apt Complex
I’m ready, my mind is on the Sex
For I’ve already sent her the Text

She is on the third floor wing
Her balcony suite looks down on the pool
I’m nervous, but maintaining my cool
As the moon shines on the water,
I’m on one knee looking something like a fool

Its 3am, I start the ghetto serenade
From the balcony I can see her emerging shade
(Oh lord thanx she hears my voice)
Pretending I’m Hamlet or an Othello
I simply said “hello“:

“Its me, I’m ready
Can we work it out?
Can we get back together?
Can I lay my head on your pillow tonight?”

( I didn’t believe it. I won her over, playing the home sick rover)

She came down the steps
Wearing a white braw and white virtuous pannies
She was pure eye candy
And it was surely time for a snack
It was time for the Mack

I carried her back up the stairs , we both now naked outside
I didn’t care
I was in love and it felt so good

Both of us now looking down from the balcony
Black love from the sky above
Ready to rest in her silky sensational sheets
I rise with the sun making miracles
