Months ago, I saw a video by Dr. Afrika(which I can't find now) about how we are given foods that are devoid of the minerals that support men's and women's protective and nurturing instincts and there are also foods DESIGNED to stopped the production of those same natural chemicals in our bodies.

The result? Have you noticed that dramatic increase of extreme cases of child abuse as well as the outright killing of infants and small children in the black community? In my opinion it's becoming an epidemic.

Does anyone know what these minerals are that support those instincts?

What altered foods block the the production of those chemicals that support those instincts?

Trauma experienced (especially neglect) during developmental years causes permanent brain alteration which forces neurons in the brain to fire differently than they normally would have. This causes abnormal behavior in children and if not recognized or treated carries over to adulthood.

This is a proven scientific fact..not sure about the DR's assertions.

and some people are just natural born psychopaths and narcissists.

I heard about soy.. somewhere... I think it was here at destee... I don't
know that we have to look to any biological-level to figure out why so many
of our folks regard children as a burden.. or a curse.. check the abortion
figures.. better yet.. just ask a 25 year-old how they are doing.. listen
closely when they answer any question about babies.. it's like babies are
    some kind of disease...

Folks been eating crappy food all thorugh the 50s 60s and 70s in the hood and one never saw this kind of infanticide and even raping of infants,
burning children, grandmothers selling their grandchildren for crack, and mothers marrying their own sons
like one sees today and it got nothing to do with nutrition and everything to do with folks just plain and simply losing thier mind

Aint no excuse for sick crap,

    :whip::whip::whip::whip::whip::whip:

one can give a natural born hateful knucka,
a 30 day detox program, with weekly herbal enemas, and 2 day fasts per week,
    then after that
wheatgrass juice daily, intravenous vit C drips to the tune of 20 thousand miligrams a day, a complete vegan diet, with 70% raw food and they will still
go out and kill someone in their family, and other whackness

If one emails Dr Lailla Afrika for the reason for this recent rise in abharent behavior, many may not like what his answer, will imply

let's just say one cannot listen to chants of, selfishness, hate and community destructive behavior, played over sampled music for 20 years whithout being effected by it subconsciously

Study: Malt liquor could be factor in higher murder rates
by Lorna Benson, Minnesota Public Radio
    April 2, 2008

St. Paul, Minn. — Principle investigator Rhonda Jones-Webb is quick to point out that her team's findings do not prove that the availability of higher malt liquor causes higher homicide rates in African American communities. Actual alcohol consumption would need to be monitored before investigators could draw that conclusion, she says.

Her findings suggest there could be an indirect link to violent crime.

"It may be that the availability influences consumption of these products which in turn influences homicide rates," she says.

Other studies have linked consumption of malt beverages with heavier drinking and aggressive behavior.

While her study did not track consumption rates, Jones-Webb says, her team did drive to every liquor retailer in the neighborhoods it studied to count the number of malt beverages on store shelves and observe how they were being marketed.

"For example we found greater numbers of 40 oz. bottles of malt liquor and more malt liquor ads on the store fronts."

Malt liquor is often packaged in 40 oz. bottles that are sold cold directly from a retailer's cooler. That makes immediate consumption much easier, Jones-Webb says. Typically the lager beer contains 6 to 8-and-a-half percent alcohol by volume, compared to 4 to 5-percent for standard beer. And it's cheap. The U of M study found that the average price of a 40 oz.bottle is $1.87 in the neighborhoods it studied. That's significantly less than a gallon of milk.

Those prices were often plastered prominently across liquor store fronts - a practice she says should trouble the black community, Jones-Webb says.

"So it begs the question why is this so? Why are these products being sold and promoted in certain neighborhoods and not in others?"

(CNN) -- It fizzes. It quenches. And it could also contain fecal bacteria.

Nearly half of the 90 beverages from soda fountain machines in one area in Virginia tested positive for coliform bacteria -- which could indicate possible fecal contamination, according to a study published in the January issue of International Journal of Food Microbiology.

Researchers also detected antibiotic-resistant microbes and E.coli in the soda samples.

"Certainly we come in contact with bacteria all the time," Renee Godard, lead author of the study and professor of biology and environmental studies at Hollins University, a private liberal arts college in Roanoke, Virginia. "It's simply that some bacteria may potentially cause some disease or gastrointestinal distress. One thing we hesitate with is that people get afraid of bacteria. Many of them are benign or helpful, but certainly, I don't want E.coli in my beverage."

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's drinking-water regulations require that all samples test negative for E.coli.

Many of the soda beverages from the dispensers fell below U.S. drinking-water standards, according to the findings.

"The large number of beverages and soda fountain machines containing E. coli is still of considerable concern... and suggests that more pathogenic strains of bacteria could persist and thrive in soda fountain machines if introduced," the authors wrote.

Godard and her colleagues acquired 90 beverages of three types, (sugar soda, diet soda, water) from 30 fast food restaurants in a 22-mile area near Roanoke, in southern Virginia. They surveyed beverages from both self-service and employee-dispensed machines and the samples were tested.

There were no reported outbreaks of food-borne illness related in the Roanoke area at the time of the study.

They found that 48 percent of beverages obtained from soda fountains contained coliform bacteria, 11 percent contained E. coli (which are mostly harmless, but some can cause diarrhea, urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia), and 17 percent had Chryseobacterium meningosepticum (which could sicken newborns or adults with weakened immune systems).

When I was in high school in the 70s there were gangs in Brooklyn like,
    The Tomahawks,
    The Jolly Stompers,
    The Savage Spades,
    Pure Hell,
    Vandals,
    Ex Vandals,
    Uknown Riders,
    Ghost Riders,
    Savage Skulls

and Old English was the thing, no Colt 45, no country club

Old E, in fact it was so high octane and full of chemicals the old timers called it "baby methodon"

we didn't care we sligged that thing anyhow and when one sat in 219 park or Lincoln Terrace park, you wasnt someboy unless you had your quart of Old E

and there was not the murder rate or even 1/8 of the murder rate seen today

    However as teenagers;
    we listened to jazz music like;
    Herbie Hancock,; Chameleon
    Stanley Turrentine,
    Grover Washington,
    Ramsey Lewis, ;Sun Goddess
Donald Byrd and the Black byrds,
    Bobbi Hutcherson,
    George Duke

    and groups like;
    The lsley Brothers,
    the Stylistics,
    The Main Ingredient,
    The Whispers,
    The Ojays,
    Blue Magic,
    Cymande,
    Earth Wind and Fire,
    Kool and the Gang,

    on the same stations

    that now have folks rapping
    about Bs and Ns,
and "i got mine the hell with you",
    "and lemme kill that>>>>".

    and
    "I gotta move this product

Malt liquor sales ban curbs crime, officer says
Store owners in the Washington-Jefferson Park area will be asked to make the prohibition permanent

    By Edward Russo

    The Register-Guard

Appeared in print: Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, page A1

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A temporary halt in the sale of cheap, high-alcohol malt liquor led to a dramatic drop in crime near downtown Eugene, police said Thursday.

Last fall, under pressure from residents and authorities, the owners of four convenience stores around the crime-ridden Washington-Jefferson Park agreed to stop selling certain types of malt liquor favored by transients because of their cheap price and alcohol potency.

The sales ban lasted from Oct. 12 to Jan. 12.

During the ban, the number of reported crimes in and around the park dropped from 187 in the same three months a year earlier to 56, Eugene police Sgt. Terry Fitzpatrick said.

Police and Oregon Liquor Control Commission officials had asked the store owners to voluntarily stop selling the fortified alcoholic beverages to see if it would reduce crime and drunken behavior.

Fitzpatrick said he is convinced the ban did.

OLCC regulator Mark Jaehnig said officials plan to meet with the store owners and ask them to make the ban permanent.

“The store owners did what we wanted them to do,” he said.

The stores participating in the ban were: Neighborhood Market, West First Avenue and Jefferson Street; 7-Eleven, West Seventh Avenue and Jefferson; Quick Stop, West First Avenue and Van Buren Street; and Jacksons, West Seventh Avenue and Lincoln Street.

The Red Apple Market, a grocery store at West Sixth Avenue and Adams Street, previously had stopped selling malt liquor.

It was unclear Thursday whether store owners will continue their prohibition.

Harnek “Nick” Dhote, owner of the Neighborhood Market, declined to say if he would agree to permanently stop selling the cheapest malt liquors. But, he added, “whatever OLCC tells me, that is what I will do.”

Before the ban, residents regularly called police to complain about public drunkenness and related problems, Fitzpatrick said.

Residents were “fed up and they were tired of their neighborhood not feeling safe,” Fitzpatrick said. “Since the ban took place, we have not gotten a single call” about public drunkenness.

Washington-Jefferson and other parks near the Willamette River for years have attracted transients. But crime skyrocketed in the Washington-Jefferson area last summer, and police and OLCC investigators began citing stores for selling alcohol to intoxicated people and minors.

After the stores stopped selling the cheap booze in October, conditions improved in the park, Fitzpatrick said.

“I actually saw children at the (Washington-Jefferson Park) playground,” he said. “I just haven’t seen children at the playground for years because no parent wants to bring their children down there.”

During the ban, the four convenience stores continued to sell wine and beer and other high-alcohol, more expensive malt liquors.
