The "Tera-neter" tile is predynastic being found by British Egyptologist W.M. Flinders Petrie (1853-1942) in the early temple at Abydos underneath the dynastic temple. The figure is on a green glazed faience. Petrie, famously known as "The Father of Pre-history". Petrie, excavations at Nagada and Ballas in Upper Egypt nearly 100 years ago unearth nearly 2200 ancient graves. He wrote over a thousand books, articles and reviews reporting on his excavations and his finds.

Petrie, The Making of Egypt, 1939

"The Aunu People. Besides these types, belonging to the north and east, There is the aboriginal race of the Anu, or Aunu, people (written with three pillars), who became a part of the historic inhabitants. The subject ramifies too doubtfully if we include all single-pillar names, but looking for the Aunu, written with the three pillars, we find that they occupied Southern Egypt and Nubia, and the name is also applied in Sinai and Libya.

As to the Southern Egyptians, we have the most essential document, a portrait of a chief, Tera-neter, roughly modeled in relief in green glazed faience, found in the early temple at Abydos. Preceding his name, his address is given on this earliest of visiting cards, "Palace of the Aunu in Hermen city, Tera-neter." Hemen was the name of the god of Tuphium (Lanz., Dict, 544), 13 miles south of Luqsor. Erment, opposite to it, was the place of Aunu of the south, Aunu Menti. The next place in the south is Aunti (Gebeleyn), and beyond that Aunyt-seni (Esneh).

The chief peculiarity of the figure is the droop of the chin; this is caused by a slanting jaw with short ramus. The same type of jaw is seen in the ivory king from Abydos, and moreover, the Scorpion king who preceded Nar-mer.

These figures are, then, the precious portraits remaining of the native pre-Menite kings of the south, and they are of a type

certainly different from the dynastic type of the square-jawed Nar-mer (Mena) and his follows.

The difference of the slope of jaw in the Aunu people was illustrated by our researchers in the cemetery at Tarkhan. In

dealing with the remains, the jaws were all photographed in position, and they show two groups of the slope of the lower edge as 20 and 28 to the horizontal.

Now we can go a step further. On the big mace-head of the Scorpion king there are carved the standard figured. These emblems of Min and Set, with rekhyt plovers handing from them. The rekhytu people, however, were the special care of the dynastic race, protected by Aha and by Thetu. They were an organized rank ruled by a mayor in the Vth and VIth dynasties. The Scorpion king was, then, an enemy of the dynastic falcon, Horus.

As we find the Aunu strong in the south, but the rekhytu strong in the north, it seems that the rekhytu came in with the dynastic invasion, entering the Nile valley at Koptos. Those who went south were attacked by the Aunu, and those going north founded a base at Heliopolis (Syro-Egypt, 2).

The heads on pl. XXXVIII are arranges to show the difference of type between the Aunu; the dynastic people, the 1st dynasty in Sinai, the IInd dynasty, Khosekhem; the IIIrd dynasty, Sudany, Sanekht, and Zeser."

I have always found it amusing, how these "Egyptologists" find new and improved ways of describing Black people, without actually saying "so-n-so was Black".

    For example:
All they are doing, is describing the Prognathism that is common for Africanoid peoples. This is a typical trait for anyone who possesses Africanoid features, be they Merotic or Nilotic (Ancient Kemetians possessed both aspects).

If one were to read this casually, they would think the subject being spoken of, is from Mars, instead of Africa.......But then, that's part of their agenda to begin with.

    PEACE

    GReat post!

MY man tara neter standing there looking like a straight on O.G one hand clinched with nothing but attitude on his face. Confident and holding his own. I try to tell my brothers in the hood that there is no things new under the sun this picture will go along way . Thank you brother for sharing and i will add that although the source is british i cannot say that i have not come up with the same conclusion. Tara neters chin does mirror the chin of osiris depcition as well as pa neteru tah chin as well. Are the anu people and the nommos one in the same. remember anu and iyd mated in the convant made between qi and the annunaki iyd was a reptilian or nummos. The laws of the neteru dictate that only like species can mate.So they must have been the same species.

Between pages 48 and 53 of Danquah’s book, ADG, you find the bulk of his analysis linking
aspects of the Akan language to the Sumerian and Babylonian gods/extraterrestrials and
by extension to the beings from Sirius. Let us see what he says about Twiaduampon: JBD
    ADG, pg 49
While explaining the meaning of Twi-Adu-Ampon
    (1) Twi - refers to the Twi people
    (2) Adu - This word is a variant of Anu, the labial n being substituted for the dental d, a
common operation in the Twii or Akan language. We have already seen that Anu
was te name of the God of an ancient people, the Akkad, or Akena of ancient
Babylonia, the Old Anu, Father of the Gods, a Shining One of the Sky
    (3) Ampon: This is a variant of -pon, a suffix meaning 'great'.

    THE EASTERN PROVINCES
Ashnunak (or Ashnunnak, Ishnunuk), east of the Tigris on the river Uknu, modern Kerkhah, is first mentioned in the records of Shulgi, who appointed a patesi, Kallamu, to that province. Both Kallamu and his successor, Ituria, have Semitic names. Shutruk-Nakhkhunte, king of Anzan and Susa, found a statue of Manishtusu at Ashnunak, and carried it away to Susa, which indicates that the kings of Agade knew the province under the same name. Its old Sumerian deity was Umunbanda, a type of earth-god known at Erech as Lugal-banda. Umunbanda, Enbanda or Lugal-banda, and his consort, Ninsun, are both forms of Ninurasha, the son of Enlil and Gula the mother-goddess, and both may have been transferred to Erech from Ashnunak. Lugal-banda was originally an ancient king of Erech who had been deified, and he was probably then confused with Umunbanda, after which Ninsun was also brought to Erech. There may have been some historic circumstance which connected Erech and its legendary king Gilgamesh with Ashnunak and Elam. Another title of the god of Ashnunak is Tishpak, an Elamite type of Ninurasha. Both Ash-nunak and Der occur in all periods from Shulgi to the Persian period for the same province or parts of the same province. The Elamite god Tishpak was also the god of Der and the two places appear to interchange freely.
Esh-nun-(ki), the original Sumerian name, means house of the prince, that is, home of the cult of the water-god Enki, and Bad-an-(ki), the ideograph for Der, means wall of the heaven-god Anu. This province, east of the Tigris, was the seat of a prehistoric Sumerian civilization at whose two chief cities, Der and Ash-nunak, were established the cults of the heaven-god Anu and the water-god Enki. Der was also the seat of a cult of the earth-goddess Bau, called “Queen of Der”. Here, too, was the prehistoric home of Ka-Di, a bi-sexual ophidian deity; and the scribes call the serpent-god (siru) of Der, both lord of life, and queen of life. Ka-Di is in fact a prehistoric title of the later Tammuz, and his name, Izir, seems to refer to the ophidian character of the prehistoric vegetation-deities: mother-earth and the bi-sexual child who dies and is resurrected yearly. Der is one of the halting places of Sumerian emigration from central Asia and its cults retained the character of their great antiquity. Innini, the special type of virgin earth-goddess, sister of Izir or Tammuz, also had her cult here. But the centre of Sumerian civilization shifted southward to the fertile valley of the Two Rivers. Anu and his daughter, Innini, took up their abode in the great city of Erech, and Izir, the dying god, under the more popular name of a dead king, Tammuz, had here his principal cult. The old relation of Erech to Eshnunak and Der manifests itself especially in the liturgies in frequent passages.
