I got 41 shots only
19 proved effective
been killed about
15 million or so times
pulled over because...
many of times because/
have lived decades
to see babies and mothers
and fathers and sisters and brothers
get tossed overboard
and dead boys tossed in rivers
cause "they said he whistled at a
white woman"
and brothers hung on hundreds
of "old oak trees"
and those same brothers mutilated
and watched eurosapiens
take home genitals to encase them
in glass just to get in their company
and brag "I was there when they hung
his ****** ***"

I have lived decades to see
black woman raped and who
wept in silence beneath
the sea of hatred with no way to
express it until death set in
and they were freed

I have;

seen the white sheets at night
heard the creaking hulls of slave ships
heard the cries of separated families
when "Sold" was proclaimed
seen whips stinging backs and wore the
welts as a symbol of what it is to
be black in Amerikkka
felt the pain of a mother when her son
was gunned down
felt the fear of being chased by dogs
felt the blast from waterhoses
when we were excercising
a supposed "freedom to assemble"
yet all it seemed was that we were only
"free" to seem "dumb"

(even though we created the foundations
that led to all civilizations)

I have seen martyrs made out of men
who killed us out of ignorance
...they deserved to die/I was there
I saw what they did...

I picked/planted/
and pampered the fields
from sun up to sun down
because I was the only one
strong enough to handle the harsh conditions
of the heat/cold and inhumane behavior
by eurosapiens

I have seen us build this **** country!!!
my blood fed this soil
while living and in death
I have cried for hundreds and hundreds
and hundreds of days on end to
ease the pain the sufferin'
rinse away the residual effects of
hundreds of years of conditioning
of those that I live through in the
present

I am the African spirit!!!

I have built the pyramids by hand
etched the future in the sands
providing all that want to see
a divine light
that illuminates the pathways to
truth
I created astrology
philosophy
medicine
law
democracy
and so many other glorious things
do you think you can kill me?

you have tried for hundreds of
years and even though some of my
soldiers knees have buckled
I still stand! Strong!
I am what cannot be destroyed,
the breath for the chosen people

the African spirit!

SAY DAT...Blak Man.

eurosapiens
wasting
precious energies
trying hard
to kill ME
who can't be killed
...can't be destroyed
by words
or toys
or all those many
fantasies
they dream up
to get rid of ME.
i breathe
STRENGTH
into these lands
in the face of
adversity
i proudly
STAND

the spirit of
the African Man.

BEAUTIFULLY SCRIPTED, Blak.
