This info is so incorrect. Why do you insist on posting wrong info????
This slide states:
"Akenaten instilled the idea of a single deity: RA."
Are you joking???? By now, with all this debating that's going on, we should all know who ANKHEN-ATEN's deity was.
This slide makes the inference that because Ethiopia was one of the first countries on Earth to adoopt Christian Religion", doesn't mean that it was the absolute first, nor does this substantiate any claim that Africans created this religion.
The absolute first Christian Churches were all Greek.
This slide attempts to marry Africa with Christianity, via Coptic Christianity.
However, none of the actuall Kemetians had anything do do with this:
Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria - Wikipedia
The first Christians in Egypt were mainly Alexandrian Jews such as Theophilus, whom Saint Luke the Evangelist addresses in the introductory chapter of his gospel. When the church was founded by Mark during the reign of the Roman emperor Nero, a great multitude of native Egyptians (as opposed to Greeks or Jews) embraced the Christian faith.
Thus, the Africans in Egypt were nothing but Christian converts (under Roman oppression, no less). They did not start the religion.
This slide implies some African right to claims of Christianity, because SAINT ATHANASIUS authored the Nicean Creed.
However, this Saint was not African:
Athanasius of Alexandria - Wikipedia
Athanasius was born of upper-class parents in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. He would probably have been familiar with the Alexandrian Catechetical School, and would have been around 10 years old when in 303 Maximian sent hundreds of martyrs to the stake, including some who had been teachers at that school. The leader of the church there, Bishop Alexander enrolled the young Athanasius in a private study course. In the same city, Arius also lived, and the Arianism which he espoused would lead to the eventual doctrinal clash which for which Athanasius is most remembered.
Just because a person is born in an African land, does not make him an African......Otherwise, Every Black person born in European should equally be called a "European" by the same logic.
Alexandria was almost entirely a Macedonian city at the time of this saint. Thus, he would have been just as European, as those Europeans living in Europe at the time were.
This same slid also claims:
"Catechetical School of Alexandria is the oldest school in the world."
Are these people out of their minds???????????
I thought the point of this presentation, was to show that Africans created Christianity......Not to downplay and ignore all the NUMEROUS other African accomplishments.
The claim is made:
"Tirelessly defended Orthodoxy but introduced dramatic innovations:
*Christmas celebrated every month"
Sorry, but a Black fool is still a fool, and being Black does not make him exempt from being a fool.
#1) Why on earth would we venerate a man who urged us to celebrate a Pagan (take notice to how the word here is correctly used), and HOMOSEXUAL holiday???
Saturnalia - Wikipedia
#2) All the worse, since he sought to celebrate it MONTHLY, instead of yearly?
#3) How is this Black man paying homage to his ancestors, by renaming himself CONSTANTINE, one of the most racist, brutal, and homosexual white men ever to grace the face of the planet?
At what point are we supposed to be impressed, or enlightened?
Brother, if you are going to post websites, at least have them be factual.
The following link has a list of sources on this topic.
"All eyes have to be centered on the indigenous African religions of the Nile Valley from whence all three derived, religions which are today called the "EGYPTIAN RELIGION" and/or "MYSTERIES".
Dr. Yosef A.A. ben-Jochanin
"Moses and Judaism, like Jesus Christ and Christianity (the daughter of Judaism), had their origins in the Nile Valley civilizations. And of course Islam, with her God-Allah (the grandaughter of Judaism, and daughter of Christianity) cannot escape its indigenous African origin, even if the Ka'aba should be abandoned by the Moslems of the Holy City of Mecca."
African Origins of the Major "Western Religions", p. 149.
"Moses, his brother Aaron and his sister Miriam were all indigenous Africans born of Egypt."
"Not only these few Jews were indigenous Africans, but almost every last Jew fleeing from western Egypt to the "Promised Land" in Eastern Egypt-Mount Sinai-were indigenous Africans"
ibid, p. 150
You know, I think you just get a kick out of seeing your name posted on a list of threads, because you really aren't adding anything here with this redundant, and oftentimes inaccurate information.
You are aware that DR BEN has changed his views on Moses and co. since 1991 (when the aforementioned book was published), yes?
That's the merit of continuing to update one's studies, and keep them current.
True scholarship is not static.
"The Africans accepted their Asian brothers and sisters, the Habirus, as equals, and integrated them into Egyptian society according to their socal and economic classes. Thus, from the first day of their entry in Afrca they were amalgamated and integrated with Egyptians."
ibid, p. 159
"NONE OF THESE ASIAN JEWS WERE CAUCASIANS, OR EVEN OF CAUCASIAN ORIGIN; THEREFORE NO BLONDS, REDHEADS OR BRUNNETTES ONE SEES TODAY AS JEWS ARE IN ANY SENSE AUTHENTICALLY JEWS MORESO THAN THE BLACK, YELLOW, AND BROWN ONE SEES FROM AFRICA AND ASIA."
ibid, p. 160
