Here we show the six step involution process that evolves the out of No-Thing, the six step evolution process that evolves the cross out of the cube, and the resulting upright cross that symbolized for christians the cross of crucifxion.

For members of the Roman Catholic faith the above thirteen stages may be likened to the thirteen active stations of the cross. For students of Kabala they may be likened to the thirteen stages of kabala that consist of the ten sephira of the Kabalistic tree plus Ain, Ain Soph and Ain Soph Aur.

Here we have another confirmation of the story being toll. Once again we find Creation to be the result of ther Principles, three potentials, six powers and a final form called Kingdom

In accordance with Kabala. Divine Principle is a triad of unexpressed laws. A description of each of the laws is noted below with references to both Kabala and Geometry.

Kabala Geometric Interpretation

Ain No-Nothing--Symbol of Un-manifest God. Absolute and Limitless Void. The source of Creation

Ain Soph . DOT--Symbol of the Masculine Principle. Limitlessness, Infinity or one. By rotating 'NO-THING' 90 degrees, a dot appears. The point of a rod, the cause of creation.

Ain Soph Aur Line-- Symbol of the Feminine Principle. Limitless life In Ain Soph we viewed the end or the point of a polarized rod. In Ain Soph Aur we view the same rod in terms of it's length as a result of the point being rotated 90 degrees. From this direction we can see the two opposing poles of the rod (1) the positive pole having and impressive force and (2) the negative pole having an attractive force

Again, in accordance with Kabala, Divine potential is also a triad of unexpressed laws, this time possessing the potential to express the three qualities or attributes out of which Creation flows forth.

Formation and Animation -- Six Powers of Creation

In Christian Terms, this rerpesents the six days of Creation. In Kabalistic terms it represents the activities symbolized by the fourth to Ninth Sephira on the Kabalistic 'Tree of Life

Kabala Geometric Interpretation

Formation Represent the Manifesting of Creation

Hesed Cube--Symbol of the elemental Kingdom, First of the six creative stages in Matter. In geometric terms it is the arching up of each of the two angled sides of the triangular prism by 45 degress for a total shift of 90 degrees

Gevurah Cube--open in one direction. Symbol of the mineral Kingdom. Second of he six stages of creation in matter. In geometric terms it is the cube with the front panel turned down by 90 degrees

Tepheret Cube--Open in two directons. Symbol of the organic Kingdom. Third in the six stages of Creation in Matter. In geometric terms is is the cube with the front pantel open and one side panel turned down by 90 degrees. Representing the infusion of spirit into "matter" and the giving of life to form.

Netzah Cube-- Open in three directions. Symbol of the Animal Kingdom. Fourth of the six stages of creation in matter. In geometric terms it is the cube with both the front and one side panel open and the second side panel turned down by 90 degrees

Hod Cube-- Open in four directions. Symbol of the Human Kingdom. Fifth in the six stages of creation of matter. In geometric terms it is the cube with the front and two side panels open and the top/back turning down by 90 degrees

Yesod Cube-- Open in five directions. Symbol of the awakened human kingdom. The cube becomes the cross. Las of the six stages of creation in matter. In Geometric terms it is the cube with the last upright panel turned down by 90 degrees

Malkut Cross-- Open in six directions. Sixth and final stage of creation in matter. Geometrically it is the cube fully opened and raised up 90 degrees to become the upright cross. Using Christian terminology it represents the transmutation of the grey matter of the human brain into the 'chalice of the holy grail' and a dwelling Son of God

In Kabalistic terms the six cubes of the cross represent the six creative sephira of creation with the whole cross representing the seventh sephira malkuth or kingdom.

In terms of time the six cubes of the cross represent the six days of creation and collectively equal one week.

In biblical terms the six cubes represent the six days of creation with the entire cross representing the holy (or whole) day of rest in the bible.

The number of open faces on the six cubes of the cross is twenty-six, the same number of characters that make up the English alphabet.

For alchemists, the cross is the crucible in which they carry out the different operations designed to transfor matter into gold but, for a true alchemist, the matter to be transformed is in himself, it is the matter of his own being. This is why he has to study all of the different elements of which it is composed, the way in which they combine and the formulas that enable him to transmute them

We Have to study all the elements of our cross, of our own matter and, just as God worked with the living cross, the logos. in creationg the universe, we have to work with these elements and combine them like the letters of the alphabet to transform our own being into the new jerusalem. As long as we fail to understand that it is man himself who is the cross and how he has to work with that cross, we shall not make progress onto the path of evolution

The above twelve sequential ninety degree changes of direction add up to 1080 degrees or exactly three complete cycles of 360 degrees each.

THE CRUCIFIXION -- Symbolized the return of the Son of God to his Fathers House. The Lower (material) nature of man, composed of his (!) physical body (2)etheric body (3) astral body and (4) lower mental body is represented by the four arms of the cross. His higher (spiritual) nature composed of his (1) Spirit (2) Soul and (3) higher (casual) mind is symbolized by an inverted triangle similar to that found in the Ancient Egyptian Ankh. It is ofcourse man's hight nature that returns to his fathers house.

In this work whe show how the Christain cross symbolically evolves out of the cube which in turn evolves out of the 'No-Thing' by way of twelve ninety degree steps. In Kabala 'No-Thing' is represented by the sephira Ain or un-manifest God.

Persons Familiar with Christianity may find interest in considering the above symbolism in terms of how it relates to the twelve disciples of Jesus and the part they played in Jesus being placed upon the cross of crucifixion.

As many people know, the upright cross is not exclusive to Christianity. It has been used in all kinds of religious practices since the dawn of time including ancient Egypt.

To the right we show a stylized version of the ancient Egyptian Ankh also known as the Ansata cross. It is interesting to note the design of this stylized version of the Ankh 'cross' as referred to in the description above

Sekhemu,

Very much on point...and you took the words right out of my mouth with this:

Outside of the link not working (shows an error-understandable, considering its age), all is well with me.
