I  to you Mom, with a tear in my eye
    yet, I promised myself, I wouldn't cry
    but...

I can't dial the phone and say, Hey mom, I care,
nor knock at your door and say, Hey mom..I'm here
Life certainly didn't teach me to handle this part,
So I'm trying hard... to slow down my heart.

I'll try hard to smile as the mother's walk by,
don't want them to notice that tear in my eye.

You know what my daughter said to me today,
let's kneel down on our knees Ma and pray.
Let's pray that Grandma got a real big smile,
cause we kneeling here with her for awhile.
    now...

I got to be strong so my own child will learn
to hold herself proudly, when it's my turn.
can't have her wondering bout "If, where and why"
or going through life with that tear in her eye.

what a woman worth truely is .......i can relate

in da heart & mind of my body for there and only there is where i hold Mom

Sometimes, days meant to be joyful, are laced with pain, making us feel so conflicted. There is a rainbow after this shower, queent, it's within your daughter. Much love to you Sis.
