[Nubian One]

I've been to that place where I inhaled all of him into me.. And lost myself
I've been to that place where love ruled all, and clouded my mind, judgment, & wisdom..
I've been to that place where future in laws took me in as their own, relationships kindled and binds grew stronger..
I've been to that place where these newly formed binds had to be torn apart, ever so abruptly..becuase of him
I've been to that place where love grows & stalls, paints & stains, mends & rips, consoles & cast down, rubs & stabs, nurtures & neglects..
I've been to that place where love allowed me to care for his seed as though it was my own..
I've been to that place where the shhyt hit the fan, glass was shattered, and dreams deferred.
I've been to that place where I've learned to let go, move on, EXhale him out of me, and grow….freely...

I been to that place a time or two or maybe three. Whatever the number been there enuf to get the t-shirt and the the mug. But I am so glad I am in new place now in which I can look back down memory lane knowing that I am better for that place.
