    That Number
    By Andre Austin

    A prison number
    A credit number
    A white supremacy plan
To keep the Blackman in slumber

    My credit is lame
My prison stripes are a shame
The two are both the same
All designed to keep blacks down and out the game

It all started in slavery, really dough
    Then progressed to the Crop-Lien
Vagrancy laws, debt peonage and Jim Crow
Modern day police state gots their own L.E.I.N

They lean (lein) on you not to be your friend
But to get your number down and try to bring you to an end
The assasin lurks with a plan
The life of economic hit man

    Don’t get dumber and dumber
Set your self free from that evil number
