Thankful for what God can do
    Grateful for my calling too
    Blessed Lord, I serve you
    Express my spirit there

    With no hint of gratitude
    Evil wants to usurp you
Take away a soul or 2
    Mock the Beatitudes

Truth exposed a lie told to
    Steal away the magnitude
    Of a grateful attitude
    Taint your mercy here

    Thankful for...
    The life you gave
    Faithful knowing God ain't dead
Mindful that your blood was shed

    This Thanksgiving
