Thank Him
Through all trials….through all sorrows,
Thank him….for you are not promised today
Nor tomorrow. Promised nothing
Nothing is guaranteed, nothing is edged in stone,
To live than die and make it home.
To that place that we all long for
A place of peace, where violence has ceased
Frustrations released eternal life for the deceased.
He’s done his part….. It’s up to you to let Him in your heart.
Seems like such a small price to pay…..to meet him one day.
I often wonder what will I do….What will I say?
the first words I know will be Thank you.
I will Thank him for he brought me through,
the things I have done,
And the things I will do.
For he is the glue, he is the bond, that keeps my mind together,
No matter how hard the wind blows, I thank him for the good and bad weather, for everybody’s storm is meant to be,
The only question is what do you do at the fallen tree?
Do you step over or around it?
Do you pray harder the higher the pressure gets?
Me? I just thank him.
I thank him.
For today, for yesterday, for every smile, for every tear, for the family that is still with me, for those I lost so dear.
I thank him.
For peace of mind, for precious time, on earth, for my birth
For my life, for my wife, for my sight, for my plight, for his forgiving my soul
For making me whole.
I Thank him
