Tears stain a face that was once touched by grace.
Lines erase the joy, that shone whenever she watched
    her baby boy.
Now lines crease a brow prematurely, as the memories
    continue to invade her peace.
Tears stain her once lovely face and in them she finds
    no release.

Tears stain her pillow where muffled cries of joy once
    grew into moans.
Now an empty bed and pillow most nights are spent
    alone.
Time clutches her heart each time the clock tick tocks.
Tears stain the front of her gown and soak her beautiful
    locks.

Tears stain her bible , eyes blur and she can no longer
read, Job's story she is now living and this she now
    concedes.
Wiping her eyes with her shirt sleeve she seeks again
to read. But, finding no solace in the words , she concentrates on the way that she breathes.

Tears stain her memories for all the world passes her by.
She alone knows her burden, and today no one stops to
    ask why?
Tear stains and regretful heartache render her helpless to find her joy. She bends to place flowers on the grave of her only little boy.

Tear stains on the Gravestone that marks his untimely eternal place to nap. Next to him she places his baseball and his favorite baseball cap. Hands in her lap she searches for words, but finds that she has been turned on mute...there are no words of sorrow to speak and no condemnation to speak...Next to him lies his father, life taken by his own hand! How could she ever have loved him...did she even know this man?
Tear stains...and no refrain, nothing but pain bouncing back and forth in her brain...

    ...>floats in>

This is a very emotionally charged piece that really tugs at the heart and grieves the soul. I am at a lost for words.

    My humble Thanks!

Thanks for your support...we recently had a Homicide and attempted homocide where the father killed his eight year old son, the wife is still recovering...he unfortunately is still alive! I know that sounds harsh...but a young life snuffed out...renders me incapable of much compassion for the murderer.
    Blessings on ya House!

    Very touching piece.

It brings home the fact that tomorrow is not promised.
I'm gonna call my daughter and tell her that I love her.
    Beautiful.Bravo.
