Tears flow ~~ as I sit here
    Listening to my heart break
    Thoughts of sorrow
    Pass through my mind
    As I remember
    How we used to be
    How you used to be
I look at the stranger across the crowded room
    And realize I know him
    intimatley
    At least I used to
    I knew who you were
    And I’m sorry to say
    I dread who you’ve become
    So cold
    So distant
You look at me and my soul shivers and my heart turns to ice
    Tears
    F
    A
    L
    L
    On my pillow at night
When I turn and see your back
And hear the deep even breath of sleep
Tears flow as I sit here
Trying to form the word goodbye
