I wish I'd have said
enough with the nonsense
enough with the uselessness
teach me something good
teach me what equality is
don't teach about men with nations under their fist
but how could you teach
what does not exist?
teach me love and compassion
just to be spoiled by this world
of liars and addicts
and forgotten by it's leaders
forget atoms and electrons
creating grenades, missiles and bombs
instruct me on free-thinking
and how to obtain Samadhi
and a consciousness unseen
to most human beings
teach me something I can apply
in everyday life
filling my brain with information
instead of dirty white lies
real freedom is our prize
not material gain
we all get caught up in your game
of "make me rich and die while you're at it"
so tell me teacher
are you really capable of teaching?
or are you a mouth-piece
a puppet to the "Beast"
wooden doll
all strings...no brain
teaching directionless ways
a path down a never-ending road
destination untold
until we're useless and old
wondering why
we never saw that American pie
then reality hit us
your teachings were lies
compiled of white heroes
and grateful slaves
honorable, red, white and blue praise
discovering land already made home
seemingly erasing reality
rewriting history
and making it your own
teach me what really happened
red blood with red skin
women and children
handshake forgotten
gunshots at the end
teach me history
not out of the books
read it from the sky
it tells no lies
it's seen it all
it has seen your rise
and it will see your fall
enough with the nonsense
enough with the uselessness
teach me something good
teach me what equality is
don't teach about men with nations under their fist
but how could you teach
