In the meadow of my heart
    Grass went untended
    It grew tall and thick
I could not see the sun
I moved through the meadow slowly
    Painfully
    Laboriously
    I could not get through
    But then
    As if on cue
A self-propelled mower began the cutting process
    Fuled by friendship
    Compassion and understanding
    The grass was cut
    Devine guidance cut it clean
    Cut it smooth
There is now a path I can follow
    I can walk freely again
In the meadow of my heart

GQ my poetic brother, you've got to understand the meadow, where it is, why you're there, and why you don't leave. :)

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Yes!

    Between the walls
    of love and hate
is a straight path of righteosness
    and grace
    A love we must embrace
    with hope & faith
    that shall fill this
    place.

    Loved this piece poet!
Thanks for sharing the meadow of the heart.

wiping the tears of spiritual joy

poet...please forgive me for taking so long to respond but this is my first day back after a much needed rest and increase...this piece is true in many aspects for the meadow is such a wonderful place to rest in the arms of our father. You have blessed me today and i am quieted by the fact that my words have inspired you as such. You have been an inspiration of many pieces simply for you embrace the meadow and the garden (j'hiah's home) so much...

know that this piece reminds me of a song... "It is well...in my soul"

this piece is well...in my soul...

May God continue to bless you with the gift of scribe...

    one.
