And that say it's taboo, that thing that we do
but how could they possibly, when even i don't understand
the chills that flow up and through my body
when even close to her i stand
a simple touch sends the sparks up and down my spine
and i began speaking words that have yet to be defined
BURN FIRE! they so eagerly scream
so ready to cut me open and watch my blood stream
and out the corner of my eyes i see the nooses being tied
as i nervously walk by
for I am the next that they will judge and then condemn
i feel the anger in their voices
as they yell and scream just torch her
because she wasn't made for she, but for him
inescapable her forces and at any time i will confess
that her love is the greatest that her love is the best
but just as sure as i am that the sky above is blue
i also feel and know inside that there's something special about this dude
that grabs me and melt me within his hands
i quickly turn into butter and disappear in the sand
he looks at me softly and i see my future in his eyes
his children in my belly
his hopes in my cries
and if there were a way I'd split myself in two
because to both and yet to neither am i capable of being true
such selfishness it seems
i see them both in my dreams
i awake frustrated and yet elated
as i struggle to decipher what it all really means
there are four walls and i can't escape
what sound decisions can i make
as i feel i am slowly threatening to unravel
with his every stroke i contract, then release
liquids like grained gravel
the screams get stuck in my throat
am i confused, absolutely
not, nope
i see her i see him
high heels and a pair of timbs
and i wish oh how i wish i knew what to do
cause she makes me feel faint
just as his sweat on my breast is beginning to disintegrate
as it seems I'm stuck like clue
to this thing they call
taboo
