    Democracy Now - "The Obama administration appears to be pressing ahead with military strikes on Syria despite new obstacles at home and abroad. On Wednesday, an informal meeting of the United Nations Security Council failed to reach an agreement after Russia and China opposed any authorization of force in response to last week’s alleged chemical attack by Assad forces in Ghouta. After domestic pressure, British Prime Minister David Cameron announced he will seek parliamentary authorization for using force against Syria, and only after U.N. inspectors complete their current mission. And in Washington, the White House plans to brief lawmakers today following growing calls that President Obama seek congressional backing for any use of force. The administration is expected to make public soon some of its intelligence, but skeptics say there remains no smoking gun implicating the Assad regime. We host a debate on military intervention in Syria between Tariq Ali of the New Left Review and Steven Clemons of The Atlantic."

    Even if it has evidence, it has no authority to attack a sovereign nation, but that didn't stop them in the case of Libya.

    That is true brother and was always true since WW2, but no one not even Bush has been this (I dont think there is even a name for it) about just war all over the world every darn where!!! Even Reagan wasnt that wild about this stuff! The Afghanistan war is longer then World War 2, Pakistan, Libya Yemen, troops in Kenya and Colombia , near South Africa, as what they called Vietnam before the war "advisory teams" Ships in Australia? Every JHS child knows the US has military bases all over the planet but these are "get ready to get busy" squads! Big difference . Yes James I support and will post evidence to what you are saying, like below;
    but this is like some kind of addiction, like from an old Star Trek episode!

    I just heard on the news that the Prime Minister of Britain was crushed when he put a vote to joining the U.S. in attacking Syria. His position is in jeopardy (they do 'recalls' of their PMs, stuff like that :10500:).

    Also, turns out less than 10% of Americans are for attacking Syria, as well.

    Which goes back to my asking IN ALL SERIOUSNESS..... who's doing the calling?

    Or perhaps a better question would be: Why is Obama headed down this disastrous course? Everyone knows the talk about using gas is a (no pun intended) smokescreen. I even remember seeing once on TV that the U.S. was in full knowledge that Sadaam (when he was our "bud") used nerve gas on dissidents in Iraq. It was in a documentary, for pete's sake! COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

    So.... why does Obama want to take out Syria?

    Yeah but it looks like the French are the only support. Cameron is back peddling trying to hide his tail between his legs.
