(performed this in the Salute the Voices of Philadelphia show, yeah :) we rocked :) )

The many intersecting lines of symbolic belief
All bunch up into a yarnball of religious thought as far as I'm concerned
    Whether diamond incrusted or wood
    Does not matter
    Its shape takes no form
The loudest lady on Market Street looks dead at me
    As she promoted Christianity
From drifting underground I float to the surface of 15th & JFK
Taken back by ninjas with megaphones and a ticket
for me to the New Jerusalem
Posted within weekly press is an offer to reach a level of enlightenment
    Within the belly of Buddha
But I'm not interested in feeling up the love handles of this carved image
    They say Jehovah's coming
And here's his pamphlet to the new world
I know those in Brooklyn's Watchtower haven't seen it
but can tell me this is what it'll look like
And somehow this doesn't look right
    Their shapes take no form
Brotha on the el diessecting good words to build up Islam
    Solidifying his faith with logic
    As if facts made believers
    (In this case deniers)
Knocking the Bible for being man-made as if
the Quran fell out of the sky and extinguished the flames of the burning bush under it's weight
Is it written somewhere in your scripture that I want your **** CD's and DVD's?
Your shape takes no form into the pegholes of my subconscious concepts
Fabricated faith fulfills your falacy fed egos
    Therefore I don't believe yous
    Hussssssshhhhhh...
    Stop talking...
    There's God

    There's God :congrats:
The ending is perfect, really. I mean if i heard this poem read aloud, i would remember parts of it, but this ending would stay in my mind. Stop talking- theres god. SO many things take away from the actual worship of god in this world. I loved the poem, and how you didnt show ANY bias. Nice. Great job.

So many want to feel that their faith is THE faith, but there is only one God. Love the way you made your point, leaving no "rock of ages" unturned. Message received, and wonderfully sent.

I just thought about how we can learn so much and take new twists and turn in finding facts on God, but as we're learning we aren't "being" or even acting anything like "God", your last line did say it best. We can search a whole life time and learn so many things that seem factual, and get so confused when all we need to do is Hussshhhhh. Love this one.
