Come lay with me underneath
the sycamore tree
while we rest our heads and
enjoy a light blue breeze
...we can talk lover's talk
while picking ball clusters
off of tea green leaves

Come lay with me underneath
the sycamore tree
I'll tell jokes -if you laugh-
as I giggle
deeply breathe in - we

Come lay with me underneath
the sycamore tree
and we'll throw pieces
of dry bark at the skies
above as it captures the
flight on the wings of
a lonesome white dove

Come lay with me as
we turn our day's dreams
into joyful realities
all beneath the
decidious branches
of the sycamore tree ~~
