I came...
medalled by battle scars
earned in trials survived
armored in consequences
heated hollowness/life contrived
I came...
stamped by planned promise
battle plans surely sown
primed to hang my banner
or flag retreat,move on
I came...
paid-up conquistador
the future hand drawn
in potted rest/easy living
blessied Sunday morn
I came...
seared by plans unaltered
head hard/reason knotted
but listened/learned truth
Supreme often thorns plotted
I came...
to sign saying Crossroad
rungs or test for pretender
arrested plans/channeled I
into this Sweet Surrender
