    My best friend is confused
What am I supposed to do?
    She's having suicidal thoughts
The inner battle she now has fought
Slit the wrist under her watch
Lied about it thinkin' I didn't give it a thought
    I've been there before myself
I see her diary on the shelf
If she trusted me though she wouldn't lie
I couldn't handle it if she died
It's a hard path to follow
But all my thoughts I have to swallow
She says she won't follow through
That's what my other friend Jamie said too
She was 1/8 of an inch from dying
All I could do is stand there crying
She can't win the battle herself
I look at the pictures full of memories on the shelf
I close my eyes to swallow the tears
But instead I flash back to my fears
That I'm standing next to her grave
For her I could not save
I prey that it is not the ending to this story
I hope she finds in this life the glory
I know God will guide her in her mind
To choose the right path I hope she finds
I just hope it's not to late
I guess only she can be in control of her fate.

    a deep battle you fight...

waging war against death for one you love.
LET HER KNOW THAT YOU LOVE HER
LET HER KNOW THAT YOU'LL BE THERE WHENEVER SHE NEEDS YOU
LET HER KNOW THAT SHE'S NOT ALONE
LET HER KNOW THAT HER DEATH WOULD HURT YOU, TERRIBLY
    LET HER KNOW.
sometimes, we reach a point where there's nowhere for us to go...no path that will lead us out of the abyss of darkness that has overshadowed us. at that point, we have to make a choice. when it all said and done, it's a choice that she has to make for SELF. no one else can make that choice for her. you can only LET HER KNOW THAT YOU'RE THERE FOR HER.

    keep the faith.

    PD thanks for the read

Baller I've tried to be there for here, but it's like she doesn't listen or doesn't care and I've been in this situation before so I know what's going on. She thinks that lying to me is going to help. I wrote this poem for her. Thanks for you thoughts they mean a lot.

This is heartfelt, one love. If you would read psalms 23 to her as often as you can, I believe you will see a different. It definitely won't hurt to try.

Your poem is well crafted. It would be a good idea to read it to her often as well.
