    Giving sustenance and life
    to the dry dusty soil
    sparce prickly foilage
and the small and scattered wildlife
    of the desert
    God sends a storm

    God,
    in His infinite wisdom
    stretches forth His hands
    and waves the clouds
    into perfect formation
    above the crooked
    joshua tree
    the withered wandering weed
    the battered barren soul

    quenching every thirst
    supplying every need

    thank you for this
