The word has been out for a long time connecting aluminum in out diets to Alzheimer's. According to Nature's Pharmacy (Your personal guide to vitamins, minerals, trace elements and their food sources) by Hannelore Helbing-Sheafe, PhD the following products should be avoided as ways aluminum can enter your body.

    Most antacids
    wrapping foil
    Certain baking powders
processed cheese (invest in a cheese grater and shred your cheese yourself)
    Commercial table salt
    Older pots/pans
    Most deoderants (use baking soda)
    dental amalgams
    Cosmetic
Toothpaste (also contains lye aka sodium hydroxide)
    Buffered aspirin
    Cigarettes
Factory workers in contact with aluminum
    Food additives
    Filtered water

In fact check the lable on all granular products. Aluminum (sometimes referred to as alum) is often used as an anti caking agent to keep foods that are supposed to clump from doing so.

He doesn't mention aluminum cans but I think they should be on this list.
