But let them tell it, all the racism has been erradicated, and now we all live in harmony with each other. It doesn't help that now that Obama is about to take the oath, whites are saying (I'm hearing this at work too) that the racial problems of this country are a thing of the past, that we have moved beyond color. And every time I hear it, I just want to step on some throats, but instead, I tell them take a look at Oakland and tell me how things have changed.
For some reason, we stay in the crosshairs.

Exactly.

In a so-called post-racial society and from an 'in your face' perspective, white supremacy has never ceased it's relentless quest to 'chip away' at whatever so-called rights that Black Folk already have.

And even more interesting question arises, 'what are black politicians doing about it?'
