My heart becomes sad
when i think of the past
of the things i once wanted to accomplish
i had no direction, and no way to turn,
i walked around in circle

I can not change what happen in the past
but i can make a different in the futrue.
We all made bad decision in our lives
that is only human

But do not let it bear you down,
it is important to learn from them...
Do not let it bring you down
Let it become the strength that guides you

It matters not what we have done,
it is important that we learn from them
to be the apple of a young ones eyes
and help them and inspire others.

Donot let what you done yesterday,
effect your tomorrow...
It is a blessing to have another day
to start a new with out sorrow.

We are a race that have Endure
more then any other.
Lets come together Sister and Brothers
Let learn to support each other.

Peace

Great poem. This board is a great start. Healing is part of the experience. Often when a person experiences lost. Any lost. Job, love one, the feeling isn't minimized. I often take my losses and those I see around me and learn from those that weren't mine. Without loss we can't appreciate the triumphs. The wins, and bright days that you spoke about. Living for the next day. To stand again. To fight again.

Your speaking of our children. The lost one's. Those in jail, in the streets. The problem is it's hard to play games on concrete. It's hard to understand the love it takes to nurture a plant, an animal,
or the love and tolerance you should have for one another. You have to put your hands into the soil. The earth. To connect.

The minds eye, our shades of view can confuse any of us at any time.
