i put my soul into my pen
so when i write it speaks
the tales of a man child
    born out of the conkrete
with a soul that stands stronger
    than the ocean runs deep
    still searching for a God
    i have yet to please

my home was broken into fragments
    that's my only peace
with a strong grind in due time
    all my ends gone meet

i'm a friend to the streets
    the creeps, thugs and thieves
with a pulpit on the corner
    and a sermon to preach

soul older than the school of thought that said
time heals all wounds and pimp'n aint really dead
my appetite for destruction is too well fed
a soft behind you'll find when you think with a hard head

people tell'n me i gotta believe
but these days it's gettin' hard for a ***** to breath
'bout to suffocate from my mistakes and heavy apologies
had to forget what i want and go and get what i need
won't fret on regret 'cause now i got a mouth to feed
weak eyes might cry, but strong souls don't bleed
